(More customer reviews)This is a poor quality line of knives stamped in China.They are not forged, they are poorly ground and they are not honed.I found that the edges were so poorly ground that I could not just hone them prior to use -- I would have to regrind the edges.
Henckels does have a very good line of forged, hollow ground and honed knives called the "Henckels International Classic" which cost about twice this "International Fine Edge Pro" set.The "International Classic" set is made in Spain and weighs about 80% of the high end "Henckels Twin Pro S" knives made in Germany for less than half the cost of the German knives.
I returned these knives and bought the "Henckels International Classic" sets instead as gifts.
