(More customer reviews)I recently purchased the Shun Classic 9-Piece Block Set with Bamboo Block and I realized that I have never owned a really good knife before, even though I have had some "name" brands. Slicing, cutting, chopping is effortless, like cutting through butter. The bamboo block is very attractive, however it is about 11" deep and with the projection of the knives up to 4" beyond that, it is a formidable presence on the counter. Overall, very happy to the point of euphoria!
