(More customer reviews)I bought the Mundial 7-piece set for my father in law.I wanted to get him a quality of set of knives at an affordable price.Knowing that no set of knives like Shun or Wusthof could possibly be worth the $500-$1000 price tag and owning Henckels myself - I knew there had to be a happy medium.I did some research and Mundials are exactly that.Not too expensive but very high quality.They are heavy with good balance, fully forged (one piece of metal), and guaranteed for life.I suggest though paying the extra $50 and getting the 10-piece set as the block for the 7 is the same and have 3 empty slots.The individual cost for the extra 3 knives is actually much more than $50.
